To join the Indian Nations Chapter you MUST be a member of POCI. A one year membership to POCI gets you the monthly publication,"Smoke Signals". The best Pontiac publication available. You are also entitled to technical advisors, the POCI Library, free want ads and more. With a one year membership with the Indian Nations chapter you will receive a monthly newsletter keeping you updated on all the local Pontiac happenings, free want ads, join chapter displays at all the local events and to mingle locally with those who share the same interest you do.
Next chapter meeting will be May 15th, at Ryan's Steakhouse in Tulsa. This is located just west of the 21st & Garnett intersection. Eat around 6pm meeting will start around 6:30pm. Bring a friend.
May 9th & 10th will be the 1st Annual Pontiac Spring Nationals, held at the Tulsa Raceway Park. Friday 9th will be the Tech Session held at the host hotel, Ramada located at 1010 N Garnett in Tulsa. Jim Wangers will be our guest speaker, along with eats and door prizes. Phone now at 918.437.7660 for special rates, only $59 and mention the "Pontiac Spring Nationals". Saturday, gates open at 7:30 am for a full day of Pontiac racing, car show and swap meet. Spectators is just $15 and providing their equipment is ok, we should have exhibition runs by Mike Edwards in his NHRA Pro Stock Pontiac along with a couple other Pro Stockers. May 31st will be the annual Pontiac picnic at the home of Don & Sherry Pittser. We meet at 12:00 noon at the Flying J Truckstop located between Hwy 44 and I-244. We leave at 12:15 everyone is welcome. Club will furnish the burgers, and hot dogs. We ask everyone bring drinks for their family, lawn chairs and a covered dish.
